During my internship tenure, I have been posted in UNIT-3 for 1 month, 15 days of peripherals(ICU, AMC, Medical ward, Nephrology), and 15 days in Psychiatry department.
From 12/02 to 26/02 and 29/03 to 13/04-
UNIT DUTY-
Did blogs of our patients and updated SOAP notes in the group everyday.
Updated the fever charts and investigations in the case sheets everyday.
I carried out 2 blood transfusions for AMC patients.
I had seen vitals of OPD people and learnt how to manage a case.
I had drawn many i.v. blood samples for investigations. I collected the reports of our patients and updated the pg's.
Took patients to refferals, ECG's, XRays, 2D echo.
I have learnt history taking in the OPD.
I learnt about clinical examination on patient's.
I learnt what investigations to be sent for diagnosis.
Dealt with casualty cases in the night duty days.

From 27/02 to 13/03-
PSYCHIATRY DUTY-
Saw different patients and learned how to take basic history
Learned and observed different patients suffering from psychiatric illness in the OPD with PGs
Examples like :
Schizophrenia, OCD Depression, Alcohol dependence syndrome, Tobacco dependence syndrome
Visited De-addiction centre in the hospital and observed how the patients were being interacted.

NEPHROLOGY DUTY-
From 19/03 to 23/03-
WARD DUTY-
I have done an Practical exam duty where I had taken the videos of UG students and helped pg's.
I have attended rounds with faculty and pg's.
I had drawn patients iv samples for reports
I monitored vitals of Ward patients.
Helped my co-interns for making SOAP notes.
From 24/03 to 27/03-
ICU DUTY-
Hourly monitoring of the ICU and AMC patient's and informing the pg's about the vitals.
I have put 2 foley's and 1 rule tube.
Drawn many samples of patients for investigations.
Taken ABG samples for investigations.
I have done CPR to 2 patients.
I have learnt how to manage critical cases.
Assisted Surgery pg's in ICU and AMC during dressing.
